Plus 1 Tutor is our new tuition agency, specialising in KS3, GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. We are based in South Wales, specifically between Cardiff and Swansea areas.
We provide one-to-one, face-to-face maths tuition through the medium of Welsh and English. Our tutors will travel to you, or you can pop to our office space in Port Talbot.

Our Story
My name is Gruff and I have been a Mathematics teacher since 2020. Maths wasn’t a particularly strong subject for me during school, so my parents reached out for a maths tutor. This was when I met Ryan for the first time. My confidence in the subject grew significantly and led to me achieving an A grade at A level and choosing it as part of my Maths and Sports Science degree. After finishing my degree, I decided to become a maths teacher. From being unconfident and struggling in the subject to becoming a maths teacher is a story that I feel can inspire others. Me and Ryan want to combine both of our experiences and knowledge to help others reach their potential, this is why we started Plus 1 Tutor.
